Managing Director of Bay Group Ziaur Rahman and a number of Taiwanese investors from YI JHAN CO LTD .- Yuan-Chun Lin ( Chairman), Brook Lin (General Manager), Hank Lin (Directors of the Board), and Charlene Su had a meeting with BIDA Chairman Lokman Miah along with Golam Mohammed Bhuiyan ( Director- BIDA). In this meeting also attain Mr. Steve, Mr. Apache, Md. Abu Saleh and Abdul Quadir from Bay Group at the BIDA Agargaon office on December 14, 2022. YI JHAN CO. is one of the biggest shoe manufacturers globally. They are now here to explore Bangladesh for their next destination of investment.
During the meeting, BIDA Chairman discussed the business environment for FDI in Bangladesh. He also informed that the dramatic change in ease of doing business happened only due to the strong and far-sighted leadership of Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Following their visit to Bangladesh, investors visited Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Shilpa Nagar (BSMSN), Chittagong Export Processing Zone, and Bay Economic Zone in Gazipur next to Dhaka to check the investment potentiality of Bangladesh. After the visit, they expressed interest in investing in Bangladesh.
